A source at Summit Entertainment confirmed to MTV News Friday evening (February 20). “‘The Twilight Saga's Eclipse' is dated for Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

" The threequel's plot synopsis was also leaked for the first time.

"As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob -- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.

" As Twilighters know, Meyer's final book, "Breaking Dawn," will most likely be made into a movie if the studio is going so far as to film the first three novels. Meyer has gone on record saying that she'd like "Breaking Dawn" to be filmed as two separate movies, but little else is known about Summit's plans to continue the saga beyond "Eclipse."
